West Village tea strolling

Did you read the inaugural post in the West Village tea stroll series?  It's a review of the matcha latte at Bosie Tea Parlor.  We wrote about visits to Sullivan Street and Grounded and it is likely that we will visit these tea shops again during our tea stroll.  On our list are The Meaning of Tea, Tea & Sympathy, and The Tea Set.

Where do you drink and buy tea in the West Village (of Manhattan)?

p.s. We did not include Sanctuary T in our All the tea in Soho series.  Check out Sara S.'s review at Tea Happiness.

  1. Thanks for the mention! I haven't been to The Tea Set yet, looking forward to your review! Love Tea and Sympathy for British style tea with attitude :) If I remember correctly, they steep the leaves directly in the pot, so the tea does become very bitter by the end. Fun place though. Also, if you are looking for a place just to purcase tea, McNulty's is great. Old school, quirky place. I think there is also a Porto Rico Coffee imports store in the W. Village. They have lots of loose teas as well. Have fun!!
