I could not wake up before my usual wake-up time of 6 a.m. to watch the beginning of the wedding. My wake-up is not by choice! Anyway, I watched the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge leave the church and later wave from the balcony of the palace. About an hour after the wave, I toasted the occasion with a cherry scone and a cup of Twinings Assam set on a royal wedding tea towel brought back from London from my mother-in-law. Did you celebrate the royal wedding, and how?

I got up at 5 am to watch the wedding. During the arrival of guests and for most of the ceremony I drank tea out of a very special royal wedding mug (it matches your tea towel Georgia!). Towards the end of the wedding I enjoyed donuts and a orange juice cocktail. Yum!
ReplyDeleteTea, doughnuts and an orange juice cocktail: a nice blend of Old and New Worlds! Thanks for commenting, Eve.
