The Tim Tam Slam

The Tim Tam Slam ingredients : Tim Tam and tea

Recently, E. introduced us to the Tim Tam Slam. She picked it from two sources : a beach novel titled Pants on Fire and a uni mate (school friend). The basic concept is this : bite both ends of the Tim Tam biscuit, then use the biscuit as a straw to drink a hot cup of tea or coffee, then as soon as you taste tea, eat the biscuit ASAP ("the slam") before it melts all over your hands.

  1. Hi Georgia,

Thanks for visiting my blog and for linking it to yours. You've got a nice blog! If you don't mind, I will also add your blog on the list of links on mine.

I haven't heard of Tim Tam Slam until you mentioned it. Using "the biscuit as a straw to drink a hot cup of tea or coffee" sounds like a dangerous propotition to me, though. One time I mistakenly used a straw to drink a hot beverage and it burned my tongue and throat. *shudder*
